All of us have dreams for the very near or distant future and we all certainly want to achieve them sooner rather than later. Those dreams can be career based, personal or any other ones. Some goals might be vague and others already planned out and ready to complete, but in reality, how often do we actually tick our goals off the bucket list? Some lists may need to be refreshed or newly written even.
My life sometimes consists of a series of different lists that seem to never end, but every day I try to tick off at least some of those bullet points. Sometimes it seems really impossible and a time machine would surely be very helpful. Whether your list is 1 or 200 points long, we need to tell ourselves to start and finally get into the motion of ticking things off.
NOTE IT DOWN
Do you have a bucket list? If you don’t, then why don’t you have one? The bucket list helps to organize your thoughts by “shelves”, it provides you with order and as a result, saves so much time. I choose to have several bucket lists – a personal one, where I write my daily routine and some small things to get done; a “big one”, where I write my big plans (such as traveling destinations and new projects) and lastly, a “financial one”, where I write down things I have to pay for and the projects I have to complete in order to get paid. Having such lists really helps me to not forget about anything and keep all my current work under the control. So, one advice that I would love to give you is – note it down!
SOME CHANGES ARE OKAY
You should not be afraid to adjust your list – it’s no one else’s but yours. We grow up and meet new people; our preferences change and therefore it is totally fine for our passions and dreams to change too. Take a look at your list and see if everything that you noted down is actually what you want to achieve and do; if not – cross it out.
One of my points on the bucket list is to visit the US. What are yours? (Share with me in the comments section)
