WHAT GIVES THE MEANING TO YOUR LIFE?

“The soul is healed by being with children”.

Exactly two months ago, my step sister gave birth to an incredible baby – Arseny. Exactly two months ago, I understood that my love for children is unbelievably strong and fragile. Becoming an aunt made me realize many things that I did not think about before, one of them is that I am ready to be a mother. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not applying that right this second I want to get pregnant. I still have many things to achieve before becoming a mother, like getting a degree and setting career goals for my life, but I now for sure know that I will love my kid more than anyone and I will try to be the best mother in the entire world.

Kids are so incredible! They awaken the best qualities in a person – love, wanting to care for another human being, appreciating the reality, being thankful and forgiving. If someone is unsure of what love is, all they have to do is spend time with a kid, look him in the eyes, see him smiling and there it is, you feel the love.

“Kids make life the best kind of busy”.

Everyone at least once has met someone “evil” and wondered why do people become so negative and consumed by their anger. I think that one of the main reasons is the lack of attention from their parents during the childhood years. If the person has been raised in love, comfort, and only positive atmosphere, the chances of him becoming “mean” are going to be minimal, but if there was a lack of attention, the person will most likely be raising himself and sometimes it can lead to such “unpleasant” character. When deciding whether to become a parent it is extremely important to evaluate whether you can provide everything that the child requires. Bringing a new life to the earth does not only mean being financially stable to provide for the baby, but also acknowledging that a lot of time needs to be dedicated to him as well. All parents are responsible for the way their kid turns out to be. I believe that everyone is born pure, it is the surroundings and the society that shape us throughout life.

This is so cute!! I sometimes think about having a kid of my own and I feel something really powerful, like I want to love and protect someone that doesnt even exist yet. You seem to be an incredible aunt and I’m sure you’ll be even a more amazing mother!

This is such a beautiful post! I feel the same way about kids – not ready to have them now, but want them someday. I am a nanny and working with kids every day has made me understand just how important they are to our lives. This is an adorable picture! Congrats on becoming an aunt! (and your sister on becoming a mom!)
